My humble opinion on love

Love is the strongest force in the world. It has the power to build, destroy, conquer, and unify. However, the strongest love isn’t Romeo and Juliet, Gabriella and Troy, or even Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The truth is, the strongest love is the one we share with everybody. The love that we feel for our families and friends. This love is the one that brings us together, unites us. The prophets I have been studying have shown me that love is powerful and it can bring justice and equality if we believe in it. It has shaped our world into what it is today. Love is the one that the prophets speak of, the one that shapes nations and parts seas. Love can fix the problems we have today and can mend a divided society. It is a blend of how people should act and react, it tests their faith in themselves and each other, and it will fix our world.

In today’s modern society, people use the world love like it is nothing. We are laidback and relaxed about it, but when the time really comes to say you love someone, for real, its just too hard. The love we feel for one another should be real. No matter what. If you love someone, you should be able to stand by them through their struggles and their problems because no matter how hard they try, they can’t get away from you. That is real love. In Martin Luther Kings time, there was segregation between colored people. Today there is still segregation in the world. When we are walking on the streets there is still judgment. If we are as over the segregation of African-American people as we say then why is there still racism in the world. If we are a new breed of humans that doesn’t prey on the weak then why do we judge people who are wearing weird clothing or funny hats. Maybe our fight isn’t with the colored people of the society anymore, but what about those who love the same gender. In this new era, people think that just because you are different it means that you are wrong. The love the prophets talk about wants us to love everyone the same and love everyone as much as we can. Just because someone is different from you doesn’t mean they aren’t equal. People say they love everyone, but if that’s true then why is there still bullying in schools or murder in the world. Differences are what make us unique, but the humanity hasn’t seemed to get the memo.

~Peace Out
